Grass Swim Team Registration will be March 20, 2010 between 10am

Registration
To register,
you’ll need to do the following:
1. Come to the
clubhouse between the hours of 10:00 a.m. 2:00p.m.on
registration day.
2. Sign up for
volunteer dates (6 jobs per family).
3. Bring the
registration page filled out

4. Bring the signed
park district waiver

5. Bring your
checkbook.
6. Bring your
swimmer (if you want to try on swim suits).

These fees do not
include team apparel (i.e. team suit or swim cap). Our team is responsible for
paying for everything, except the pool itself. As a fiscally responsible swim
team board, if we stop paying our coaching staff, and stop buying
things like a computer scoring system, software to run our meets,
kick boards, ribbons, trophies, shade awnings, bleachers, etc., we
would have enough money to take a nice weekend vacation to the
Holidome in beautiful Elkhart, IN. Unfortunately, because we will
always have a coaching staff, Naperville Park District Swim
Conference fees, costly insurance policies and need to add and
update our equipment, we will always have registration fees. Remember though, this is to
your benefit, and a benefit to the organization as a whole, to
enhance the experience and opportunity of this
team.
Thankfully,
we’ve had a number of sponsors who have donated money to our
team which helped purchase some of the more expensive ticket items
like a new laptop, printers and a wireless timing system. We
do LOVE our
sponsors. Anyone

Job Escrow Account
(paid at registration)
Each family is required
to provide a $50 check to be placed in escrow for the unlikely
event that they don’t show up for their volunteer job. We really do not want your
money and would rather you work; however, if you are absent from
your job the escrow check will be cashed.
Refund
Policy
Full refunds will be
given to any swimmer who does not qualify for the team (i.e. is not
strong enough to swim one length of the pool without arm floaties,
needs to use the ropes to get across the pool, or just cannot make
it across the pool) after time trials on the first Saturday in
June. Also, full
refunds will be given to swimmers who decide to quit the team BEFORE time trials. After time trials NO REFUNDS will be given. If you would like a refund,
