for the 2010 season.
2010 Coaching
Staff
Co-Head Coach
Jenn
This will be Coach Jenn's third year with Tall
Grass Lightning. She was an assistant coach in 2008, an
assistant head coach in 2009 and will be sharing head coach
responsibilities with Coach Jackie this year. She swam with
the Park District from ages 8-17, was a member of the Fox Valley
swim team for 9 years and participated on the Neuqua Valley High
School varsity swim and water polo teams. While Jenn no
longer swims competitively, she could not imagine a summer that did
not consist of Park District swimming and being on a pool deck
every morning before the sun comes
up.
Jenn is currently a junior pharmacy major at
Drake University.
Co-Head Coach
Jackie
For the past four summers, Coach Jackie was an
assistant coach for the Ashbury Aligators. She started
swimming for the Park District at the age of six and loved it so
much she began swimming year-round. She has contined swimming
in college as part of the Michigan State University Triathlon
Club. Coach Jackie is really excited to begin at Tall Grass,
and get to know and work with all of the
swimmers.
Coach Jackie will be graduating from MSU in May
and plans to attend Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in
the fall.
Coach Emily, Coach Allie, Coach Brien, Coach
Marissa, Coach Megan and Coach Natalie are excited
to be coming back this summer and seeing all of their swimming
friends. They are working on new ideas for ways to have fun
while swimming.
Coach Molly, Coach Grant, Coach Maddie and
Coach Joe will be joining the coaching staff this year. They
are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Lightning swimmers
and join in the fun planned for this
season.
All of our coaches are accomplished students and
swimmers and we are proud to have them working with our
swimmers.
